last week, I drink way too #### much tea. If I get up really late, I will get some tea instead of coffee, but tea does not give me any sort of caffeine pick-me-up.

It makes them go up like charcoal soaked in lighter fluid. For me the coffee, or soda if I don't have coffee or it is already too #### hot, is more like lighting coals with newspaper that has some cooking oil on it.

smells like burnt dirt. I avoid walking down the coffee aisle at the store so I don't get a whiff of it.
If they ever P me off at work enough I'm gonna sue over having to endure that awful smell every morning, say it caused me to have medical episodes or migraines or something. Of course, with the new Covid rules, office coffee machines are probably banned forever now. Small victories.

I've ruled out alcohol, and am in the process of testing my lactose tolerance (mild success, tho nothing convincing...switched from half & half to almond creamer for about a week now...last night's pizza made a violent exit after about a half hour, so there might be something to it...)
if it's the coffee itself that's been causing this lately, I'm not sure what i'll do

shot espressos, just so I never end up in this situation. I don't think I'd be surviving this baby thing without them to be honest. I usually end up having a lunch time Nespresso as well to get me through the afternoon. The baby did go 8.5 hours between feeds last night so hopefully I'll be able to dial back my coffee addiction to one cup a day again in the next 10 months sometime.

but I noticed that after lunch coffee usually ends up in heartburn. I scaled that back and went to straight black coffee until around noon. Usually none after that. Now that they sleep better at night, I can actually get some sleep (except one kid pissed in the bed last night THEN the puppy pissed in our bed so last night is a bad example).
