Lots of favorites

Sorta like asking which of your children is your favorite. It's a hard question.
Here are some candidates for me: 1969 vs GT in Atlanta. First win over the Yellow Jackets in decades. End the Grant Field Jinx. 1978 Gator Bowl over Ohio State, capping a great year and putting Clemson into the year end top 10. 1980 vs South Carolina...Orange pants, ranked SC and George Rogers 1981 over defending champ Georgia an Herschell Walker. 1988 over Oklahoma 1989 vs SC in Columbia, 45-0. Complete domination from start to finish. 2003 over Tennessee 2012 over LSU 2013 over Ohio State 2015 vs Oklahoma. First playoff game win. National Stage. Super performance.

Clemson VS UGA 2013
College Gameday was great! The night ended up even better in a very close game. Afterwards I caught myself singing Katy Perry's "Roar" (it was blasting after the game) as I walked out the stadium. I'm a little embarrassed about that part now, but it was appropriate at the time!

My first game. Second grader "storming" the field after the game. Much easier to "storm" back then.

I moved to Cali then Chicago after graduating in '91, and it was such a huge disappointment through the 1990s after our success in the 80's. Even though we lost that game and some other heartbreakers (FSU, NC State), that season resurrected hope in this program.
In hindsight, it very much foreshadowed the Bowden years, but at least we became part of the discussion again in the 2000's.
Those years should REALLY make us all appreciate where we are now.

FSU 15
It was the first game my 7 year old really enjoyed the game and not all the extra stuff. We celebrated the 4th quarter TD and the win like no other before this. ND 15 is second as I will have a great story to tell. The normal 3.5 hr trip became a 14 hour adventure through the flood. Georgia 13 was great as well. Lots of fun that game.

Probably 2015 Notre Dame game too but I sure did have ALOT of fun being a poor college student and sneaking in the student section with a buddy of mine who attended South Carolina and forcing him to stay the whole game for that 63-17 beat down!!

In recent history, agree ND 2015 was a thriller.
sc 1989 was memorable 45-0 complete beat down in wb. Could have been worse, but that wasn't Danny's style.
Surprised no one involved with tearing down the goal posts after the sc game in The Valley meantioned that game, I think 2002. The cops tried to break it up and people got injured. Ironically, that's what sparked the collapsable goal posts that broke MW's neck last year. IMO faulty design. Glad for him he's recovered and coming back this year.

Oddly, it was in the "Cockroach" in 1989. My father had gotten tickets from a lawyer friend who was a USC-Eastern fan in the full scholarship donor section of all places, right next to the press box, 100 nice seats with backs and everything, 96 Coot fans and 4 Clemson fans. Strangely all four of us were next to each other. Though we didn't know the couple seated next to us, we became good friends before kickoff. This was the first game that Clemson wore their orange pants with the white tops, and they had warmed up in their usual all white. I happened to be looking in the press box when Clemson came out, and Bob Fulton was standing there with a plate of chicken which he dropped and yelled, "My God they're wearing orange!". To make a long story short Clemson won the game 45-0 and were so dominant that we had pretty much had the place to ourselves after the third quarter. Unfortunately that was Terry Allen's last game as he hurt his leg, so there is a bit of bad with that great memory.

I had been to Clemson games before that but was not really a Clemson fan. I had just recently decided on attending college at Clemson in Nov 2003 and wore all Clemson gear to fourth row 45 yard line seats in the gamecock club. I have been to countless amazing Clemson games since and now live and breathe Clemson football but that one will always sticks out.

A lot of great games, but one of my favorite is at GTech in 2001. Woody's fourth-down pass to McKelvey with about 90 seconds left, then when we held the Jackets to a FG in the OT, we knew were were going to win.
Woody iced things with a 10-yard QB scamper a few plays later.
After the sadness of the week before (9/11) it was the first real indication that things would be OK again.
