I think I speak for most Clemson fans: We agree with Todd

When all of us think calmly and rationally, and disassociate the message from the messenger, we can agree with Todd's principle that if the Behavior A of Group X causes retaliatory Behavior B in Group Y, then it is the responsibility of Group X to cease the offending Behavior A.

In his excellent illustration,

Group X = Clemson men's varsity American football team

Behavior A = Champions march conducted at every single pre-game for two decades

Group Y = Uof5C Students

Behavior B = Throwing trash onto the field like crazed imbeciles for the world to see

For me personally, and multiple other thousands of Clemson fans I know (Group Y), whenever I hear, for example, Sandstorm played very loudly and accompanied by the waving of white flags (Behavior A) by dozens of people (Group X), it sends me into a tizzy. I cannot be held responsible for how I might act, nor any violence or mayhem I might commit (Behavior B).

Todd would agree, the only reasonable solution for the safety of all involved is for Group X not to play their technopuke music or wave their frilly little rags around us. We will not be held responsible for the ### kicking which will ensue.
