I think I liked the olden days of football better.

You know, the times where football was about getting the ball across the goal line and who's pass rush was better. I don't enjoy football being used as a platform for social issues - whether that be the national anthem or any other issue at hand whether valid (child/spousal abuse) or not (plastic straws and balloons).
Whether a player or a coach is a "bad" person or is not adhering to the university's code of conduct is a personnel issue that these universities need to handle internally. I didn't condone the actions of Bobby Petrino. I think he is a slime ball. But, apparently Louisville thinks he's a good enough football coach and I enjoy us spanking his butt every time we play. But I'm not advocating for him to lose his job or being hired elsewhere as I think this represents the character of the universities that continue to issue him a paycheck.
