to be the NFL, it's just going to be played on Saturdays. He also thinks the players will become actual employees and probably have a Collective Bargaining Agreement. I suspect this will be the case as well.

He didn't get into academics really, but I believe that part will be taken out of the equation as well. Especially if the players are employees.

I suspect academics will be put aside. Party time and practice will be the order of the day. Sex cases will jump. Lawyers will have a field day. lol

20+ years ago I used to say, mostly tongue-in-cheek, that the NCAA should just admit they are the minor league for the NFL. They should make academics optional. They should make the teams named after the towns they were in, not the college. They could let the boosters run them. They could let the NFL figure out some sort of ranking (who is AAA, who is AA, etc.) and the NFL could figure out some sort of draft process to fill the teams (like minor league baseball).

I may have been a prophet and just didn't know it.

I think in this scenario, boosters become irrelevant. They are replaced by team owners and a corporate structure.
