In fact, why don't we just torture the inmates (tin snips to the toes, hacksaws to the limbs, etc) until they beg to kill themselves? At which point, we could give them a rusty butter knife that's dipped in cow turds to cut themselves and bleed out? If we're smart about it, we can monetize it by putting them in glass cages and letting the tourists from Ohio and Pennsylvania watch.

Their families can even stand to gain a donation from the justice system if they put on a REAL show, like if they stab their eyeballs out and blood is gushing everyone and kids are crying and parents are puking. We could even televise it on ETV and sell advertising spots.

All this effort and likely controversy, let's get our money's worth out of it. THAT'S THE AMERICA I WANT TO LIVE IN.
