Im not calling for Dabo to be fired. I appreciate the 2011 season, LSU Bowl game, and OSU Bowl game. BUT, there comes a time when all that must be set aside and the question asked, how have you done vs our rival? Yes... great recruiting, 10 win seasons, and the like are what we want... but in the end, the only thing that matters is did we beat USC? Dont believe, Ask John Cooper the importance of the rivalry game.....

Cooper was doing an ad for some business in Columbus recently. I laughed when I saw this as he was never accepted and left as a very unpopular coach for the reason you mentioned

level. The 25 game streak is impressive. The wins over OSU and LSU were impressive. But the fact remains that if we want to contend for the ACC, and be a national player, we have to beat FSU and SCU.
That trend has to change, and it's laughable to suggest other wins make up for that, especially post season bowl wins.
"But why are you discounting all the other games?" I'm not. Dabo has buried that demon and we win the games we should. He deserves credit for that.
Now, it's time to win the games we play every year where talent is equal and coaching is a premium.

... we're now at the point where we want to conquer mountains.
It's time to look at our gear and determine just what may be keeping us from getting there.
And start climbing.
