How exactly do you support trans people and this bill?
By supporting the bill you are doing the exact opposite.

It's pretty straightforward. I support them in everything but in sports. I don't support people who are born men competing with women. Other than that I support them and I don't have any ill will towards them like some do. I wish them full lives. I don't think Bruce Jenner should have been able to compete in women's events. Call me crazy.

Also, please provide a SINGLE CASE in Texas high school sports where trans kids are causing problems.
Seriously. Just one. That's it.
And if you can't (because hint hint, there isn't a single solitary case in Texas of this being issue) then what exactly is Texas legislating against? Are they just creating needless laws to appease culture warriors? Laws in search of a problem?
A state with an electrical grid that's put together with sticky tape, where close to 70 people died in February from issues directly related to a failed power grid and they've done nothing about it? Trans kids playing sports is a bigger issue?

So two girls from 3 years ago....in CT. Not Texas
Texas already requires hormones testing in line with the international guidelines of testosterone levels ... Ie transitioning individuals.
And if everyone here is color and gender blind then what does it matter? Let the best person won right? Why are we segregating?
So again ... What actual problem is Texas solving?

It happened in Texas. It happened on the college level. It's a reason enough for HS to take even more notice. Women should compete against women and men should compete against men. imo. I am into the purity of athletics and fair competition though.

Should white people only compete against white people then? Don't black individuals have physical advantages over whites? (I mean you had to see this question coming....)
Again, the Texas High School system follows international sports guidelines on hormone levels and trans individuals on hormone therapy. It is already handled. Texas didn't need to BAN trans people from live sports activities or even practice teams (which they banned too).
So in Texas an already incredibly fragile group is being ostracized even more to help protect your purity. Well done.

I am not the one segregating people ... funny how you're take away is I am the racist, when literally the OP is supporting and propagating segregation.
But i know reading is hard when it's above a 4th grade level for some of you.

It's in a bunch of various states. A lot of competitors aren't happy about it. It's bot just these 3. That said, we don't need to agree though. You think people born men who identify as women should be able to compete against women. I think people born women should compete against women. People born men should compete against men. We obviously don't agree and will not. That's cool. Neither one of us gets to decide. I am sure it's a small minority that think men identifying as women should be able to compete in women's sports though. Who knows? Maybe I am wrong. I know how I feel about the issue.

I understand your opinion. I do.
What i don't understand is why political legislatures are spending valuable time to address this issue. It literally isn't a problem.
nearly 45% of teenage trans children in Texas considered suicide last year. Not a single high school in Texas has had a documented case of trans women or men causing an issue in sports.
So if we are going to address a problem, shouldn't we maybe look at supporting our trans childrens mental health instead and prevention of suicide? Instead of Cindy in Dallas not playing varsity basketball?
Maybe address why Gov Abbott had the state remove suicide hotlines from government trans resource websites?
This bill is wholly there to give Abbott ammunition to run for President and appease the religious right. That is it. It doesn't actually solve any problem

I think it is an issue. If one girl is denied a state title or placing towards the top somewhere it is. Even without titles, men shouldn't be able to beat women in women's events. I don't think the legislators are that busy where they can't bring some rational thinking to athletics. They have plenty of time. They aren't that busy 24/7. I support it. Hopefully more states do the same. I wouldn't a daughter of mine having to compete against men in women's events.

Would you let her play against boys in junior soccer? When shes 7 or 8?
When is it ok to exclude gender dynamics or not? Whats the age limit?
Do you want her always to be mindful that men are more powerful and dynamic than her? That's she's a weak little flower that needs protecting?
Should girls not be allowed to play football, mens basketball or men soccer if they prove themselves?

When they are young, sure. Why not? There is a difference between developed males and females and children.. We're not talking little children. This topic is too ludicrous to even get into. Common sense is one side. It's not on yours. Anyway, I have a game to watch. Have a good night.

It’s simply about not permitting an unfair advantage. Male athletes are stronger and faster on the average. That’s undeniable. Steroids are not legal for a reason. They create an unfair advantage. The whole thing is about keeping the competition fair.
