from the sideline - you could clearly see that he let go of the ball before it crossed the goal line.
Just give it up - he did a dumb-ass thing because he wanted to show off in the endzone - lucky for him that move of his didn't cost us the game.

when his front foot is just on the goal line, the ball is already falling behind him. The kid screwed up. And while it didn't change the outcome of the game, it DID allow for us ultimately to lose ranking spots because the game wound up looking a lot less decisive than it might have.

The ball doesn't have to completely cross the goal line. The instant the tip of the ball crosses into white line, it'd a touchdown and play is over.

I'm just thankful the BALL did not roll into the EZ. I think that's a safety and 2 points for them and we have to kick to them. The ball died on the the 1 ft line I think.
That said, it looked like Troy picked it up on the goal line, which was probably a safety. We might have caught a break there.
