I spend a lot of time downloading and watching...

football games. I didn't have much on UL and I was a little concerned going into that game. I felt confident because I'd seen Gallman run over a couple of cupcakes. It wasn't just gaining yards but how he gained them. Seems he always broke a tackle or two before he was taken down. Couple that with DW's natural ability and skill development and I managed enough confidence to think we'd trounce them. UL played the game of this season and it turned out to be a very good win for us.

After that I got more on ND and the teams they faced and I told my sons it would be over by half time. We dropped nearly as many as ND did in that ball game so we quit throwing the ball a little early in some folks' opinions. It kinda rattled my nerves but our defense was successful playing prevent. The points didn't ND fluked on the scoreboard made no difference in the end.

I've watch BC games, what I could stand for the boredom. With a 3-0 loss to Wake I guessed multiplying the first quarter by four would give me all I needed for that evaluation. I also got a look at FSU but I don't want to lose 'fan focus,' here and blow the entire season looking past tomorrow. I'm bringing up FSU in the context of my opinion on BC.

Cook usually runs just like Bama's Henry but with much quicker acceleration. BC held Cook to about a quarter of his weekly production because they can tackle a little and he goes down pretty darned easy. That's about all the offense FSU can field now and BC handled it well.

That brings me back to our game with BC. They won't be able to put six in the box without dropping the LBs into coverage and having at least one safety to to help on the short routes. When they get stung for a couple of 12-15 yard passes Gallman will run them in the dirt.

It may not take long for them to realize DW ain't Golson. He can read a defense and their D-line isn't going to chase him around long before he burns them with his arm or legs.

I'm not predicting a close game on the field but it will be much more a blowout than the score board shows. Clemson low to mid 30s because DW comes out with Nick and Kelly getting a bunch of snaps...BC 16 because they get behind our defense a couple of times when we're tuning our third string.

I wouldn't trade Gallman for Cook and Henry.

I appreciate you spending all that time in film study. I have taken a different approach this year. I have read a little on here, listened to a little Walt and Mickey, and basically being "Skeered" we would stub our toe. Hopefully we won't and i can quit worrying about it. I was so media hyped-out before the ND game that i had to turn it off, everything but weather forecasts. After last years GT, FSU and UGa games, I was over stressed. If I stress myself out like that again I'm "skeered" i will start doing my "Carl" voice and thinking about kaiser blades. Thanks for the you doing all that. Go Tigers
