alan lanier,a member of the real group and a good guy as well,was a high school friend in the early 60's in darien,ct.we did do a bit of fishing and drinking.he went to unc for a short while,dropped out,and eventually got into music.also had a very pretty older sister who we all ogled.unfortunately,he's no longer with us.
