Article in the December issue of Orange.. The Experience” published for members of IPTAY on Clemson legend Herman McGee. If you get a chance, be sure and read this story written by Tim Bourret. If you aren’t already a lover of Clemson University you will be after reading this article. This magazine alone is worth the price of admission for IPTAY membership.

On a lighter note about the history of Clemson, how many of you remember the days when you referred to your roommate as your “old lady”? Be careful when you answer this. You will definately date yourself as an ole tiger!

Thanks for the nice reply. It was a different world back in those early days for college sports and campus life.

I knew Mr. McGee as a Clemson student in the early 60’s and he was everything this article reports ... and more.

I have always known that I was blessed to be a Clemson Tiger. I’m even more glad I was a part of Clemson in those times.
