qb is transferring to alabama, but stating that he will be eligible this year. what's the scoop here ? anybody know how he will be eligible w/o sitting a yr., or is this just a "because it's 'bama and/or the sec" type of thing ? the 2013 fsu roster had him listed as a rs soph, so his rs had already been burnt, no matter how much playing time he got last year (so they can't use that as an excuse - stating that he essentially sat out last year.
p.s. seems real quick to already be granted a "hardship" waiver, if that is the case.

Simple. .
If you graduate from your university before your eligibility is up - you can transfer to any school that has a graduate degree that your school does not. No waiting.
This happens pretty often.
