I ran across a 1981 football artifact today

May 7, 2021, 7:33 PM

I bought it at Mr. Knickerbocker's right after we won the national championship that year. It was a vinyl album in the shape of a Tiger Paw. I looked it up online and it says it is very rare. Did any of you happen to buy that album back then? My son just completed his freshman year at Clemson, so I thought I would save it for him. One of these days it will mean a lot to him.

I've got the SD paw album also, contains a story narrated by Andy Griffith, in Jerry Clower like fashion

Pig, are you feeling better after your COVID vaccination? My Moderna second dose only put me down for a day and a half.

I am still sore all over. My hands and wrists are the worst. No more fever thank goodness. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
Thanks for asking.

Just curious, the record is beautiful and I'm jealous, but how in the world does this record play on a conventional turntable at 33.1/3 RPM? The "groove" must be all inside the fingers/claws and approximate the size of a standard 45... whatever, very cool!!!

Go Tigers!!!

What I missed seeing available after the 2016 and 2018 Nattys was the big beer mugs that we had after the 81 Natty. I still have them and would have bought them for the last two if they had been available. Just trying to be this century does not mean that classics should be shunned.
