Upon reflection…looking back on the season….

1- This team deserves a NCAA bid. Barely. But they do.

2- If you get in the weeds and look at the various games we played that were affected by injuries to starters…specifically games where PJ was injured/limited, Chase was out and Galloway was out….it’s conceivable that this team could’ve won a couple of those that went the other way.

3- The wins at Pitt, at VT (at that time), Duke, NCSU x 3, Penn St. and over Wake at home were really good wins. And any conference road win is solid in my book.

4- The losses at SCAR, Loyola, and Louisville were really bad losses. The loss at BC was too…but pretty sure Galloway put us over there if he plays.

5- The non-conference schedule was bad. A turning point was the loss to Iowa…had we won, we would have faced an excellent TCU team…instead we got a really bad Cal team.
Other opponents ended up weaker than anticipated.

6- Tyson was outstanding this year. Hall is an excellent player. The freshmen gave good minutes as the year went on. The backcourt was streaky…particularly after the injuries.
Sheff and Godfrey have intriguing futures. Dillon Hunter will be good as well.

7- I think that the portion of the board calling for the coach to be fired needs to prepare for disappointment. Regardless of the selection Sunday news. Pretty sure Brownell would have to be the one to move.

8- ACC refs are terrible.

Historically…this was a good season. Not a great one (nearly was), not a bad one (seen those before)…but a good one. We literally could be the last team in or the first one out Sunday. Here’s to hoping.

That’s just the way some folks choose to live.

Keller I know you are a Brownell guy but I am not

The last 13 years have been long and fruitless. You can continue to pump this guy all you want but he is just not a winner. Good guy. Decent coach. Not a winner. Not a great recruiter and has had plenty of time to change his ways. Another year is just prolonging the inevitable

He is a winner.

He has won nothing.
If you coach somewhere long enough, you get wins.
He has more losses as well. You skipped that.

ACC championships?
Natties?
Final 4s?
Years ranked at end of season?

If Brad is not fired, then it is a clear signal that Clemson AD does not care about Clemson basketball.
