Georgia CU Tags. I tried to get a replacement since it’s

12 years old and really faded but the Tag office said they only issued new DX numbers for personalized Clemson Club Tag members. The point if you’re going to have to get good with “refreshing” the paw (we win at everything including Tag Wars with the Bulldogs and Jackets). #savetheCUtags

Does this mean you might be getting a new TNet screen name soon?

Or are you keeping your tag after all?

I probably should have provided a little more info

My point is you can refresh these legacy CU tags with new graphics and paint. It's surviving after a rear end hit and a lot of non washing over the years. TMail and I will provide the details if you have one of these older legacy tags that has seen better days.

I know right. It would end a lot of pain and suffering

Re: Georgia CU Tags. . .

I had two of them until I retired and left Ga in ‘16.

When I registered my second vehicle (in Gwinnett County), I got tag ‘CU 1880’. It wasn’t until I was putting it on my car that it hit me: if I had been ‘9 tags later’, I could have had an ‘1889’ tag! I always regretted - and wondered if I had offered the clerk $100 if she would have ‘jumped out of sequence’ and issued me the 1889 tag/number?

Hadn’t thought about that in a while.... thanks for ripping off that bandaid..... jk

PS: the paw on my ‘CU 645’ is still looking bright and new hanging in the garage!
