First off I have no idea what happened in lot one, but I can't believe some of you on here.
1) Clemson promotes a FAMILY atmosphere. That includes kids in case you didn't know. Some of my best memories growing up was going to a game and playing catch with any kid I could find, pretending to score last second touchdowns against South Carolina or whoever we were playing that weekend. It's what kids do...Play! I'm not sure it's misbehaving when they are playing outside and believe it or not sometimes accidents happen and balls are dropped.
2) To the football killer, was the football going into your designated parking spot? If not stop bitching. If you are setting up your tailgate outside your parking space and into the lanes you have no reason to complain. You are just as much in the wrong as anyone. It seems nowadays people want to try and claim any free space around them for tailgating. Well guess what that's not your space. I had a similar instance last year, except with a nerf ball. An older couple told my kids and nephew to stop throwing the ball or they would take it from them. I politely walked over and informed them that their tent was not in their assigned space and if it would have been, then the ball would not be bouncing into their tent. So stay in your space or ####!
3) To those complaining about dents in their car, guess what; No one told you to drive your new 2013 pimped out fully loaded Cadillac to try and impress everyone around you. You choose to drive it! My family learned a long time ago to drive the older vehicles to the games. This serves 2 purposes: 1) If a football or drunk idiot hit the car no biggie and 2) When fighting for position in traffic leaving the game, guess who wins between your new ride or an old beat-up 1990s chevy silverado.
4) To the parents of the football thrower, they make balls that are soft and won't cause damage... I bet if the idiot would have stuck a knife in a nerf ball we wouldn't be talking about this.
5) Any of you internet warriors who say they would do the same thing, please feel free to come over to my tailgating area and try to take my nephews ball during the GT, VT, NC St, or USC games. We are in Centennial Lot closest to the stadium and the upper intramural fields. We will be in the 2 spaces with the 2 older pickup trucks. I can promise you that knife would end up in your neck! Don't believe me, try me...It's amazing what people can do when someone messes their blood.
Again, I have no idea what really happened and I'm sure there may be more to the story than is being told. Now with all that said, can't we just all get along. It's the start of football season and what I believe will be a special one.
Let's go back to arguing about deer, pergolas, lack of port-o-lets, and purple jersey's.

Dang y'all. If the team we all loved had HALF the tough guy style re: protecting the ball that some on this forum have, we'd have done better in the Orange Bowl.

about dealing with parents of snot nosed kids.this is how they act.so your nephew can throw a hard ball and hit people in the face.but they dont dare grab the ball and stick a knife into it.maybe the parents should watch their kids and it will not happen.like i always say.i would knife your nephews ball.you aint no bear
