I think he would be a good hire, but probably not their #1 choice. This is nothing against Coach V.

I could see them even going after Mark Stoops at Kentucky. I mean the dude has won at Kentucky. That's impressive. Even though I think he's a bit strange, he obviously has strong OU ties as well.

But hey, if Coach V wants the job, then I'm pulling for him as much as I'd hate to lose him.

It’s a top job for sure, I couldn’t blame him but I sure hope he stays, people need to quit complaining about his sons playing though. Both his boys gave their all, Brent wouldn’t play them if they weren’t good enough!

I believe his son would be the only reason he would turn down the job if offered.
