My two favorite Olympic

Nothing so far in these Olympics has me excited enough to watch.
My two favorite all time performances were:

Mary Lou Retton getting all 10's on that taped up ankle.


On a hot day when the stars were going out easy (which was the best tactic) Joan Benoit bolted away in The Marathon and refused to yield. The field was stellar. Watching, I could hardly breathe for two hours as all knew she would crash. She did not.

It’s a bad thing to celebrate someone winning a medal?

Obviously golds are more highly thought of, so not sure why this is relevant?

I have been in many contests and will be again.
If I train my best and deliver my best - then I am a winner.
All I can ask of myself or my Tigers is to train hard and give all to win. Do that and you are a winner no matter what spectators think.

Always have..... likely always will. I watch everything I am able to with my limited tv viewing options since I only turn cable on for Clemson football.
