Here's some comedy to start your weekend

Posted in August prior to the start of the season. And rather ironic some of the games / scores / record / result.

USC 2016: Will Muschamp's new spark ignite a dynasty or dumpster fire? 2016 Predictions and beyond
As a life long gamecock fan I have seen it all and am currently a little perplexed as to what the future holds for us. What made this past year particularly hard to get through was having been able to finally experience success. This is not an article about the Old Ball Coach but it needs to be said that without Spurrier, I would not have been able to fully experience the dumpster fire that was Gamecock Football last year. This may sound like a back handed compliment but "thank you Steve, you truly made me appreciate that 3-9 season." As a fan I think we needed last year to wake us up and remember where we have been. So here is to hoping that spark that most of us fans are feeling will lead to us rising from the ashes of the Five Points dumpster the Citadel left us in.
With that being said, here are my predictions for 2016 and beyond.
Vanderbilt> Maybe I am biased but I have never seen this much excitement and energy from a 3-9 football team heading into a new year. We left plenty on the field last year and I think Muschamp is the man to remind our team we are not the team that laid an egg against the Citadel. We roll into Vandy and make a statement that in our opener like we have done in recent years. Our offense doesn't dominate but it looks like we are getting into a rhythm. The Gamecock defense makes some big stops and we get Gamecock nation talking again.
W > ##### 24-17
Mississippi State> Many feel this game is an unknown but with the loss of talent in Starkville we roll into our second away game on a mission. First quarter ends tied 3-3 but the Gamecocks get back into their rhythm on offense and go up 17-3 at half. Muschamp brings his team home having gotten nearly all of the player in on the action. Final score shows the game being much closer than it was but starts getting the attention of people outside of Carolina football.
W > ##### 34-20
ECU> Gamecock nation is riding a high into their home opener. Pirates are forced to punt their first 3 possessions and miss a long field goal to close the half. 21-0 @ halftime. Gamecocks enter a roaring stadium after half and march down the field untouched for another 7. Muschamp doesn't let off the gas until early in the 4th allowing some garbage points. ECU is not the team they were 2 years ago and falls prey to a hungry Gamecock team. South Carolina puts the Citadel game in the ppast by dominating the game they were supposed to win in front of a sell-out crowd.
W > ##### 42- 17
Kentucky> ##### get off to a slow 1st half. A gamecock fumble and an interception keep the game tight but our defense continues to step up big. Kentucky has some athletic players and make some big 3rd down plays to go up early in the 4th. We win a tight one on a last second field goal.
W > ##### 23-21
Texas A&M: We get Aggies at home this year. Our 4-0 start has brought us some media attention and some of the young kids begin to let it get to their heads. 4 players get off the bus after the Kentucky game and have a little too much fun and get picked up by campus security doing something stupid. Will probably involve alcohol and something you can buy from Wal-mart for under $5. Squirt gun, toilet paper, shaving cream or spray paint. Muschamp makes an example out of 3-4 players and benches them for the A&M game as well as the next home against the dawgs. Even with the off the field distractions, the Gamecocks play their best game of the year and ride into the UGA game 5-0.
W > ##### 28-17
Georgia > There is no denying that the dawgs are loaded but the new leadership has done little to keep their dawgs out of the pound. As usual UGA will be without several key players and rely on their ground game to stay in the game. Meanwhile the ground game in Cola has taken root and the ##### pound the dawgs. Its a low scoring game but Carolina will end up with a lopsided time of possession and Williams-Brice will be rocking as the clock winds down to zero. Gamecocks are 6-0 and the only dumpster fires will be lit by a few carried away Carolina students celebrating the win.
W > ##### 14-13
UMASS: We aren't last year's team and this inst the Citadel.
W > ##### 31-3
Tennessee> Most everyone has heard the hype. I think this year the vols finally live up to it and the Vols roll into Cola undefeated. ESPN gameday is in town and the nation begins to get a glimpse of what ##### fans have been witness to all season. A hungry team ready to get back on top. All the media can talk about is Josh Dobbs, his stable of receivers and Jalen Hurd @ RB. Everyone is predicting Tennessee to dominate and they do. We hang in for a quarter but ultimately fall short.
L > Vols 17-35
Missouri> After a disappointing loss on national television the ##### welcome the tigers to town. Its been a great season so far but our youth can't seem to move past the Tennessee game and we lose another one in front of the home crowd.
W > ##### 17-28
Florida> The gators are a hot team this year. They haven't been winning in blowouts but they have been consistent. The gamecock defense has a huge game but the offense can't seem to get anything going. The ##### outlast the gators and the final score is only slightly more respectable than last years Boston College/Wake Forest game that ended 3-0. While the score leaves some questions about our offense, there is plenty of talk about us being a darkhorse playoff contender if Tennessee were to drop another game and let us slide into the SEC championship game.
W > ##### 9-6
Western Carolina> We need to get back in the groove before we head upstate to see the taters and while we don't exactly get into "the grooove" we do get the win.
W > ##### 24-17
Taters> Its the Saturday after Thanksgiving and the Gamecocks have a prime time 9:00pm game in Tatertown with championship implications. The team has Thanksgiving lunch together while they watch Vanderbilt upset the Vols and punch our tickets to the SEC Championship game against Bama. Everything is coming together. The Clemson game is a slug fest but ultimately we show that we brought our own GUTS and the better team won. The tater's and their National Championship hopes are crushed in front of a sell out crowd at Death Valley East. Watson's Heisman hopes are over as he is sacked 4 times, throws 2 picks and looks lost against the wall that is the Gamecock defense. Muschamp keeps his foot on the gas and the final score brings new life to the term the taters hate so much. The players throw a pizza party "Dabo Style" on the bus ride home and begin preparing for Saban and the tide. The ##### are back in their rightful and usual seat as State Champs.
W > ##### 63-17
Bama> It's the biggest game in Gamecock history and it doesn't look like any team can stop the ##### at this point. The Garnet and Black Attack is hitting on all cylinders and opens up the first half with 3 long drives taking a 21-7 lead. Saban tries a fake punt but the ##### are no taters and it backfires setting the ##### up for an easy score. Muschamp is not letting this one get away and keeps the pressure on forcing two 4th quarter sacks giving Bama its worst loss in years and stealing their playoff spot.
W > ##### 35-10
Ohio State> USC recruiting is hotter than anything during the Spurrier days, Muschamp is coach of the year and the Gamecocks are one game away from Tampa. The ##### face a cardboard little ten champ in the buckeyes that was propped up by undeserved preseason rankings from Michigan, Mich State and Iowa. The game turns into last years Bama/Mich State game is everyone is reminded why the SEC is King.
W > ##### 33-3
Oklahoma> The National Championship game. At this point Muschamp and his ##### are unstoppable. We simply have too much talent on both sides of the ball. While Oklahoma's offense certainly has more bite than the little ten representative, it hasn't had to compete in the SEC against real defenses. A little back and forth and we are running clock early into the 4th quarter.
W > ##### 38-28
Final Record 14-1
In short, this is the year we have been preparing for. We have the players to win it all and now we have the Coach. We will enter each game knowing we are the better team but as long as we don't let it get to our heads we will be fine.

couldn't even work out that way. His description has them losing the Mizzou game in a let down after the TENN game. That means that Tenn would still win the east, keeping the ##### out of the SECCG and ultimately the playoffs (cause 2 losses and no championship).
Even when they are being delusional, they have to be delusional within their delusion. It's like inception up in here.

I think that Gcock fan could be trained to ask the important questions, such as: "Do you want fries with that, Sir?"
(But, I could be wrong about the capability for the training to be absorbed.)

Let them have grand ideas and suffer in utter silence when they fall flat on their faces! In 2017 I honestly see the chickens losing to NCST, Clemson, UF, UGa., UT, Arkansas, and perhaps Kentucky. Heck La. Tech under Skip Holtz could upset them in WB!
Their returning players will be experienced in some ways, but their depth will be very inexperienced overall and Muscrap will likely see a renewed group of SEC East foes who still possess better quality than his squad overall. He will be lucky to win six again at that with a decent schedule.
Go Tigers!
