He is blind by loyalty. My goodness man... look at the numbers. at some point the numbers have to matter. DJ is NOT GOOD.

It tells me two things:
1. Dabo is loyal to a fault (it's actually called pride, but that's another post for later.)
2. Dabo has no one above him he'll listen to, or they're too afraid of him to speak truth.

No, Dabo doesn’t want to admit that he was wrong about DJ. He’s trying so hard to make him into a baller just so he can tell everyone “I told you so” Thats the only thing that makes sense to me at this point

One other thought, since we don’t see practice everyday, is that DJ is the best option we have right now. No disrespect to Cade, Hunter, or the others, but our offensive coaching staff may see DJ provides our best chance to win.
I’m not sure I believe that, but it is possible.

But if DJU is our best option at QB, that is a coaching issue. We have 3 x 5-star QBs. Either they aren't being developed or we are not calling plays to make the QBs, the WR, and the O-line successful.
That goes for our WR too. Drops are coaching.
And our O-line room.
TEs are amazing despite Richardson. You think the passing game coordinator would get his TEs the ball since he coaches the TEs.
RBs are amazing... Shipley and Mafah are unstoppable almost and pretty good in pass protection.
Fumblitis is real, but we are way past fumblitis. Two-hands on the ball is coaching.

Even if DJ is balling out in practice, hitting every receiver in stride, in total command, it makes 0 difference in a game situation. He's not getting defenders in his face hitting him in practice. They may be getting near him but he's not getting hit, the coaches are in complete control of the plays on both sides of the ball. He knows what defense is going to line up and it's easy to anticipate needing to make a quick throw or whatever. Scrimmages are about the only real practices where the QB is tested, and they don't do those outside of spring training and 2 in the fall prior to the season starting. The QB play yesterday was indefensible, the play calling was completely predictable. Something needs to change or we have a very minimal chance of winning the ACCCG.
