hadn't played anybody, Boyd would melt under pressure etc. etc. I just smiled and thought to myself, no this team is different. Wrong.
USC is tougher. You could see it on just about every position on the field. WR, RB, QB, defense. Coach. I hate to admit it but we've gotten softer under Dabo compared to the TB era and that's really shocking to put it mildly.

we need recruiting to fit the DEFENSIVE SCHEME.. we have always had offensive weapons.. until we get some defensive help we are not going to get better.

USC has improved, but there were at least a few of TB's teams that would have won tonight.

Miller! He kept referring to our O as "finesse" and I told him I didn't think we were because we were balanced with run and pass and with those kind of numbers you can't be "finesse." I guess I need to call him and tell him he was right?

Hate to say it but he was spot on about everything he said. So what I want to know is, are getting some new recruits going to change this? It doesn't seem so to me.

We don't develop the recruits once they get here. So the answer to your question is probably no.
