What verizon phone would you buy today?

Unless the verizon shop can restart my HTC Incredible II, I'll be buying another phone. I think I had another year before I was eligible for verizon's discount/contract-bummer.

Personally, I like the iPhone 5 more than the GS3, but they

are so similar that it's essentially a draw. Really comes down to personal preference if you want to join the iOS culture with iMessage and the better app store or stay with Android, which you've already been on.
I don't know enough about the GS4 to make a comment on it.

I don't have the GS4, but I do trust Consumer Reports.

That said, I have the GS3, and it is as good as the iPhone in my opinion. There are things I like better about both, and things I like worse about both. They both do what I need them to do. I am anxious to see how Apple answers on the next one though.

Unfortunately I think Apple is going to swing and miss with

this iteration. Unless if they've done a great job at hiding what they're going to do, all signs are pointing to just an iPhone 5S...so it'll just be the iPhone 5 with better camera, processor, ram. Although I've heard rumors the camera will be very very good (the iPhone 4S & 5 both have great cameras on them).
I think Apple's next big move is iOS7, which is supposedly completely redone, but I don't think it will be enough.

The one MAJOR drawback in the Android OS right now...

is that when I upgraded my S3 to Jellybean it changed the native keyboard application such that it no longer auto-corrects typed words. And there is no way to change it back. As funny/tragic as auto-correct can sometimes be, it is an enormously convenient feature. I took it for granted.

type differently than do. Whenever I type on my phone I fly and hit buttons close to the one I want and autocorrect will fix it 98% of the time to the word I want. If I didn't have autocorrect my words would look like this: o ginr wyxr ik siinf <-- that would be autorrected to "I don't know what I'm doing".

What ye think? Do these smart phones ever just break without a big drop?

For iPhone, just plug into iTunes and go to restore...guess that's another reason to go with iPhone.

Before my smart phone, I used a small LG flip phone that

took quite a beating. Perhaps it was because it was a flip phone and thus gave it extra protection. With that said, I may look at the LG Optimus?
I had a good experience with my LG.
