Buqt he is not a No.3 overall pick. IMO he wasn't the best CB on our team. Goodrich outplayed him. There were times Goodrich had his side locked down tight. Against Syracuse he shutdown everything his way.
Booth is a good corner and has a bright future. His knack for flashy int's gets lots of attention.

Gotta disagree. Booth was a monster in coverage and in run support. He made some big hits on screens and outside runs. NFL likes guys who will hit as well as cover.

At 6'2" (listed by Clemson) he would be one of the 3 shortest DE's in the NFL. So, he's a long shot to make a roster at that position. He has good middle linebacker speed but I guess he never liked the idea. Levon Kirkland was listed as 6'1" and 276 lbs at linebacker for the Steelers although he was heavier at one point. Long story short is that XT has linebacker size but perhaps not linebacker skills or mentality.

On Davis, he can play his way in to a first rounder. That's a projected 2-3 round grade, which I don't believe is a guaranteed contract. This is where NIL money could be very useful
Neither XT or KJ on there. Didn't expect KJ and feel if he has NFL aspirations then he'd likely return. But for XT, this means rounds 4-7. At DE and unlikely to play special teams, that's interesting. He says he's gone, but we know he has NFL aspirations.
Goodrich not there as well, although a CB plays special teams and can easily make a team as a 6th-7th DB doing that.
We know the staff is assisting them with projected grades and such as they always do

With the NFL being so caught up in measurables (not suggesting that measurables are not useful), that is probably why this article did not mention Goodrich. He doesn't seem super fast (although I don't know his 20 / 40 times). But for the 2021 season as a whole, Goodrich was our most consistent CB, and not just consistent ... he played very well. Hopefully Goodrich gets a shot somewhere and does something good when he gets to a NFL camp.
I hope that Davis comes back, and agree with you that it will be good for him. He'll start, but won't get worn out because the defense needs to play him for 75% of the snaps because of our outstanding depth at DT for the 2022 season. TD will look good (be fresh all season) ... and hopefully can stay injury free because of not having to play too many snaps.
