Despite the fact that Orlando shooter Omar Mateen called police to pledge allegiance to ISIS during the attack, President Obama failed to mention ‘Islam,’ ‘Muslim,’ or ‘Islamic terror’ in his address to the nation about the massacre.
What we did hear, however, was a push for more gun control, as that seems to be the Left’s panacea to any and all shootings.
The way to defeat and to prevent these things is not gun control...
It is by defeating the jihadists or showing them in retreat.
These movements only grow when they have a sense of inevitability and growth.
Once they are in retreat people stop recruiting.
You’re not going to die in a suicide attack for a movement that is not advancing.
And that means attacking ISIS where it is.
Krauthammer gets it. Having the enemy on its heels is the best defense. It is why there was a dearth of Islamic attacks on American soil when Bush was President. Obama gets elected, goes into retreat, and what happens?

Krauthamer doesnt get it. Not only did Mateen pledge allegiance to isis he pledged allegiance to Al-Queda, isis' mortal enemy.
Mateen was a homicidal psychopath who was also most likely a latent homosexual.
Krauthamer and his ilk will use any and everything to attack Obama...whether it makes sense or not. We saw the Democrats do the same thing with Bush.
When are people going to learn that as long as the parties and the media keep us going back and forth over who the good guys are....they continue to usurp our democracy with the help of corporatations that fund both political parties and their candidates.

I'm by no means anti-gun but do you thing guns are helping the problem?
Have additional guns stopped any of these massacres in their tracks?

People who don't know that ISIL is a radical Islamist group should just refrain from conversation rather than demanding that the President break things down in elementary school terms.
