If you want to blaze trails for women, take notes from Lita Ford and Pat Benatar. Make Your Own music.
Let AC/DC do AC/DC. Let Pat Benatar do Pat Benatar. Just my $0.02. Same for Hollywood and movies. People want originality not remade prior music or movies. And let cover bands be cover bands. Many awesome bands started as cover bands or tribute bands. But they never became awesome or famous being cover/tribute bands.

These all-girl tribute bands are typically great musicians, hard-working, and put on great shows. Nothing AT ALL wrong with that. I'd go see Zepparella when they come around. Gretchen Menn is a killer guitarist, and Holly West is a phenomenal bassist and I've learned a ton on her bass tutorial videos, simple as that. Another all-girl tribute I would love to see is Black Sabbitch...

4-5 sets a night, each set as a different band, complete with costumes etc?
Would have been late 70s early 80s, I saw them at the Andiron here in Spartanburg
Had a Sargent Pepper Beatles set, Earth Wind and Fire set, early 60s set with suits and skinny ties
APM would have flipped over 5 pudgy guys dressed up like the Runaways but they nailed the sound of each band.
