You can thank Trump for that. No Trump and there is no Biden.

Wrong. Thank yourself & your idiot friends

Jun 15, 2022, 10:11 AM

...that voted for this brain dead wack job because of your poor, whiny leaders having total control over your thoughts and actions.

I didn't vote due to the options. I am thankful Trump is gone. He will probably go down as the most F'd up president in US history. That guy is a traitor and a disgrace to America. Anyone who still supports that guy is a traitor and a disgrace. The day that guy dies the world will be a better place. I will be voting DeSantis in 2024. I hope the masses will. Trump is done for with anyone with a brain. ANyone with a brain would never defend that POS.

it' s not all that bad, is it?

Jun 15, 2022, 10:23 AM

Sorry your speculative investments have crapped the bed, but maybe y'all should have tamped down your irrational exuberance in so many immensely inflated asset classes. I mean, have you even looked at the charts. The speculation was way out of bounds, so bad that even the CEO of a company had to warn y'all that his $TSLA was way overvalued. That never happens.

The truth is wages are up, and jobs are way up. When Biden took office, over 18 million Americans were receiving UI benefits. Now, that number has dropped to 1.4 million. Unemployment is at 3.6%. The PPP stimulus that Trump initiated also had a lot to do with these jobs being recovered.

There was a reason why the American economy recovered much more quickly than the rest of the world. We invested in it.

Now the economy is so hot the FED has to raise rates. Yeah, we got some inflation, but that's what happens when American companies and economic prowess are primed with a shit-ton of cash. Get over it.

Not sure why y'all are acting so surprised.

The economy will do what it will do. I'll ride it out like the rest of us and it will probably be my last ride. Hoping for one more comeback...

The worst of Biden is not the economy. It's the continuation of woke-ism, giving people jobs because they have melanin and a v@gina, promoting violence by rationalizing it, etc.

Wages are up, but not near the rate of inflation; therefore, they are actually down

Over 18 Million were getting UI because liberal hysteria closed everything down

That number dropped to 1.4M, because people said "enough is enough" and opened back up anyway, not because of some miracle of liberal America.

Unemployment is at 3.6% yet millions of jobs are unfilled. How can that be? It's called the labor participation rate. Low unemployment numbers and low numbers on UI because they are not working and NOT LOOKING for work.

Now the FED waited so long to curb inflation, they must send the economy into recession to stop it.

Liberal America fk'd the economy. Most of the damage was intentional and the rest was through sheer incompetence.

And I am NOT surprised.

It's not an illusion. I have never seen it this hard to hire people. We have been short handed for over a year because the pool is so small. We even had to relax background checks just to be able to get more people hired.

Nope, not voting for Trump. I'll take someone who actually listens to his\her advisors instead of ignoring them in favor of advice from a clown like Guilliani. That's kind of important when it comes to being POTUS.

What's your point? Has the formula changed for calculating UE? Fact is, it's very difficult to hire right now, which indicates the market isn't flooded with people looking for work.

labor participation trend has been going for several years

Jun 15, 2022, 11:51 AM [ in reply to Re: it' s not all that bad, is it? ]

The aging boomer generation has been leaving the labor market quicker than younger generations are joining it. It's an historical trend. It's a fact. It's documented. It is also.....quite obvious.

Unemployment went from new 20% to 3%, but the LPR stayed the same. That's an issue.

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Labor force participation rate is down 1.1% since Feb 2020.

Sure it’s down, but not nearly as much as you are making it seem.
