I can't focus on any books right now.

I've started Robinson Crusoe and a Tale of Two Cities.

I'm begrudgingly halfway through Mindhunter.

Nothing on Kindle Unlimited interests me right now.

90% of it is lifetime movies in print.

normally read non-fiction. I really enjoyed it. It is fairly slow getting going but the payoff at the end is worth it. It is difficult to explain the plot without spoilers but the general idea is that an aristocrat is sentenced to house arrest in a Moscow hotel after the Communists take over. It follows his life over the next three decades or so.

Now I'm deep into the Witcher books (show on Netflix, but I got into it through the video game)

I did start A Tale of Two Cities, but the style of writing just isn't for me

it's usually sappy romance or "suspense thrillers" that are all the exact same twists and turns.

A lot of those authors use the exact same stories, just change names, scenes and put a new name on it.

also if the cover has a straight jaw man in a suit adjusting his cuff, I stay away. That type of book is more for stubborn_tiger® than me
