Report: Trevor Lawrence signs cryptocurrency app deal

The future is coming with a wave of virtual money for users. Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence is part of the movement of traditional money converting to virtual coins as he has signed an endorsement deal with cryptocurrency portfolio management app Blockfolio. Interestingly, his signing bonus wit Read Update »

I hope it took all his salary in cryptocurrency

William Shatner made hundreds of millions when he took Priceline stock instead of a flat endorsement fee. It may not work out with the cryptocurrency as well as it did for Captain Kirk but with the money Trevor is going to make with his draft pick he may just have set himself up for after football.

News from USuC...
"Richardson was the 20th Gamecock arrested since Spurrier was hired in Nov. 2004"

Fluxus®
"As I watched the game yesterday I couldn't help but feel crushed. We beat Furman by 4 TDs, but to me it looked like we got whipped."

"George Bush, we are reliably informed by the media, has the IQ of a moron, though how he matriculated from Yale and Harvard or flew an F-106 will remain an unexplained mystery. Doubtless his father bribed the airplane to fly itself."

I hope he stays directly involved, holding the company

accountable for doing good business so that he doesn't get taken and tarnished by the greed of unsavory blockchain founders... hope he isn't endorsing or involved with anyone who might do anything like what happened in India last week...

Bitcoin and Ethereum still have so much potential to grow. It’s not too late to invest in both.

TigerNet is the last place I expected to hear about crypto. BTC and ETH are both IMHO high quality intermediate (6-9 month) and long term investments for investors willing to accept extreme volatility. For those willing to do their homework, ETH, Cardano ADA, and DOT are worth a look as the top blockchain defi blue chip cryptocurrencies but not for the fainthearted.

Good for Trevor!

I believe Bitcoin eclipses 200K and ETH eclipses 20K in ~3 years. I am also putting in money in Cardano, hoping that they can climb their way above $5

XLM could be a play as well. They are more popular than ADA on Coinbase. I have some friends that have seen massive returns with Safemoon, but I trust it about as much as I trust Doge.

Exactly. I’m curious to know which crypto they paid him with since they themselves are just a crypto brokerage company and wallet like Schwab or Fidelity. If I were Trevor I would’ve asked for 50-50 bitcoin and Ethereum.

With his brother being an artist he could actually make hundreds of millions of dollars if he produced his own series of original NFT’s.

You crypto people are in for a rude awakening. One day the lights will turn off and you won’t be able to login. I also can’t wait for the government to say no more. Enjoy the bubble while you can.

I’ll stick with real money. Like gold and silver.

To each their own. Doge is a dog. But ETH, ADA and DOT, and blockchain decentralized finance (defi) may be the next internet boom. And yes, expect a big crypto cyclical dip by year end 2021. Silver may be a better play than gold in 2021. We will have to see how that one plays out. In any event, go Trevor and go Tigers! We can agree on that!

Haha I was waiting on this comment from a boomer. Predictable. People have been crapping on BTC since forever. I remember when it was pennies. It does nothing but go up, year over year. Yes it's volatile, but it has pretty much the same utility as silver or gold if there is literally no electricity. My only regret with BTC is that I didn't invest more, earlier. It's easy to think about "what if", but I actively used them back when they were 50/ea; I just never actually kept any.

You’re making a dumb and assumptive statement. I’m 55 and I understand crypto. There are plenty of older people that get and understand crypto and plenty of young people that do not. It has nothing to do with your age but your sophistication as an investor.

You do realize that your money is in a bank account and is ones and zeros on a computer? Unless you have cash in a safe at home or gold coins etc. your money is just as electronica as cryptocurrency. Let me know how your debit card works when the power grid goes down. Cryptocurrency is actually killed by most people online yes, but also on a thumb drive. If there is an EMP or a terrorist takes out the power grid everyone is screwed! Everyone should have some cash and gold and silver coins stashed away in a safe at home.
