I have loved the entertainment and grit of the Clemson teams I have watched since my Freshman yr at Clemson, the 96-97 season.
I would love to see all of our sports, men's and women's, perform well but never at the expense of ethics.
It is hard to look at the history, to have hoped and felt the pain, and to remain invested that next year is gonna be different.
Random thoughts... and the comparison came to mind. I'm sure it won't be well received, but... what say you?

It would definitely have been an insult if you had said Easley High School, lol. Easley baseball has been consistently good since I was in HS 20+ years ago.

I would make one adjustment. Although no ACC titles, with all due respect all the other teams including VA Tech have won conference and tournament championships within the last 50 years.

Are you comparing our basketball team to the coots football team?
Please, that's like comparing oranges to rotten apples.
At least our basketball team has a "fighting" chance where as all the fight in the "fighting" game chickens left when Thomas "The Fighting Games..k"retired after the American Revolution.

The more I think about it, the more I think its a fair analogy though.
We still have this year's tourney, maybe we can make a surprise run....
