basketball season. BB has so much to work with going into the offseason, both from a motivational and developmental standpoint. These guys have so many reasons to come out with a chip on their shoulder.
Also, don't be surprised if KJ comes back.

I'm firmly convinced that K. J. is coming back. He'll have to play guard at the next level and his outside shot needs a lot of work, IMO !!

I don't think our success next year is hinged on KJ coming back. This team has grown tremendously. In fact, the past 2 games - we were better WITHOUT him on the floor. It really surprised me because earlier in the year I woulda never thought that.
Our program will take a HUGE leap forward next year, with or without KJ.
I hope he comes back, but BB putting an unknown kid into the NBA 3 years out isn't a bad thing to be able to tell recruits either.
And we are in on some STUDS for 14 and beyond.

to his outside shot and his high dribble. He is an outstanding talent and will make a great NBA player though. This year's draft is loaded as well so even if he improved zero he would fare better in 2015, but with a little more practice I think he can be a high lottery pick in 2015 and the contracts between that and where he is slotted now is a big difference. Defintely will pay for him to stay, pun intended!

and he knows that he is not NBA ready ... one more off season working on his deficits, one season putting on a show, THEN, he will be a TOP draft pick and command mucho dinero, no cut contract, yada
