Looking for suggestions

Partly because of the hurricane and partly because of my new found love for whiskey and bourbon, I am in need of some suggestions for possible sippers this weekend. My recent favorites have been the always reliable-Makers Mark, the newcomer-Angels Envy, and good ole Woodford and Buffalo Trace. I would like to branch out a little bit and am looking for some other brands that the more "seasoned" enthusiast might enjoy. If it helps with suggestions I alternate between drinking it on the rocks or mixing up an old fashioned.
P.S. I am also not opposed to Scotch suggestions, my current favorite is Chivas.
thanks...

Have you tried "Apple Pie Moonshine" from Suga'Tit Moonshine, smooth and tasty.

I have tried it and very much enjoyed it. Just have to sip it within moderation as the sugar lends itself to some less than pleasant next day experiences.

I am currently on a Blade & Bow kick. Other favorites are Eagle Rare and Four Roses.

Will have to check out the blade and bow, also been a while since I've had four roses. Thanks for the suggestion.

Basil-Hayden should be on your list for sure. Wellers is great. Henry McKenna 10 year is among the very best and Old Forester 10 year is right up there.. the best least expensive bourbon is Jeffers Creek... I think. Many would disagree. I want mention Pappys because you will never get it.

As a college student I once had the opportunity to try Pappys from a successful, quite intoxicated and generous alumni at our fraternity house. However, not knowing the lore behind it, I regretfully declined. I regret that decision to this day.

Purchased a bottle of Blade and Bow and Basil-Hayden tonight. I was very impressed with both at first taste. Looking forward to having a full drink tomorrow during the game.

If you like Maker's Mark, you'll probably like Larceny. Both are wheated bourbon. Eagle Rare is excellent, as someone suggested. Evan Williams Bonded is excellent, and it's about $20 for a fifth. I prefer wheated bourbon, but some of them are starting to get crazily priced (most of the Weller vertical, and the Old Fitz decanters).

Some of the best "smooth" bourbon I've had is Blanton’s Gold Edition.
The best bourbon for "sipping" I've ever tasted is Widow Jane 10-year. It's really good.
I also like Four Roses Single Barrel.

The Gold Edition...

is actually the exact same recipe as Blanton's Original, but with a higher proof (103 vs. 93). A little easier on the wallet too.

Yeah, I had a Blanton's "Straight From the Barrel" about a year ago. Mine was around 125°, as I recall. It was great.
