I have seen lots of comments on DJU here today

Some are expecting the QB he was in high school and the two games he played his freshman year. That is not likely unless the O-Line can give him a clean pocket. That is what he had in high school and pretty much during his freshman season. Also he is a pocket QB. Clemson needs to scrap the RPO and run a pro style offense to suit his skills.

Just needs to hand or pitch it to the correct team. Make throwing it something out of the norm. Maybe like when Rodney Williams was the QB.

And Williams' decision making was close to perfect -- Ford would not accept less.

will be fine.
I suspect the high $$ coaches with years of football experience have a better idea than any of us fans.

Sometimes you have to wonder Tug. Seemed to take a while last season to decide that the running game was our best bet of winning ball games. Still a head scratcher imo. Elliot was stuck on getting DJU confidence which I get but it was obvious early on that he was not producing. We run the O that we ran at the end of the year I do believe we beat State and Pitt.

Passing was hard last season for more reason than just DJU. The surprise of the season was Ship. I did not see that coming for a freshman.

I do hope he rebounds in a big way. No doubt he has the talent just needs to translate it to the games.

We all want the best for DJU and all our Tiger players

But we also want to win every game with the best players on the field. Unless DJU was seriously injured through most of 2021, he could not run, he could not pass accurately, he could not audible into successful plays. So yes, I'm doubtful that DJU can turn it around and go from the 96-rated QB to top 10. I hope I'm wrong and will be happy to eat crow. We'll see what happens.

With Cade Klubnik breathing on DJ'S neck, he only has one choice this season, and that is to do a great job behind center, or step aside, and don't cry or complain when Klubnik takes over, and he takes it to the next level!!! It's not like DJ don't believe that Dabo will put the next man up in the game to see if he can do a better job bc, Dabo has proven before that he will pull the starting QB, and hand the ball over to a true freshman!!!

IDK about “the wall” of protection for DJU

unless it’s the Great Wall of China. If maybe there was a way to implement a laser guided tracker in the football & receivers gloves, I just think his accuracy is not going to improve. I really hope he can fix it.

The RPO is run by all NFL teams. "R" does not mean quarterback run...you do not have to be an athletic quarterback to execute the RPO properly.

To me it's not so much the oline , it's his indecision and hesitancy in holding the ball too long.

It doesn’t seem that we adapt our offense much.

It’s RPO regardless of our personnel.
