Playing Devils advocate…. Let’s say Dabo in the next year

Or two decides that he’s gonna hang it up because he doesn’t like the way college football has gotten. He said a few years ago that he would if things got out of control. Do you think a coach that was willing to use the portal, was ok NIL deals, and etc would be as successful at Clemson?

the total chaos and no rules that currently exist in college football I could see Dabo saying this isn't for me and hanging it up. I hope not, but I really could.

Most people making the kind of money that he is making are addicted. It’s not popular to admit, and they will not admit it - very few addicts come forward……just saying, that kind of cash will NOT be easy to walk away from.

I think it is totally dependent upon that coaches gifts and talents.

Davo has proven to be possessed of a wonderful combination of talents. Saban has too. so has Spurrier (though not enough to keep the program lifted at USC).

Doesn't matter though because I don't want to find out.

For better or worse, Dabo won't be here forever. I do think we have the infrastructure in place to succeed over the long term. The right coach and we'll be fine. The wrong coach and we'll suck. About the same as any other program - except that we have already established the highest possible upside with this program.

It’s a crap shot trying to find another coach. We would probably struggle most in recruiting because of the culture Dabo has built would be perceived over.

I wish Dabo the best & with Holy Spirit leading Dabo he would be destined for great things for many nations in the Greatest Revival ever!

With Dabo’s faith it will be great to see how else God uses His gifting to save lives for eternity with our Absolutely Good God!

The best ???✝️ Is yet to come. When God moves it’s going to be undeniably amazing, like nothing that’s ever been seen.
