But doesn’t it say something that I wish they would’ve kept Martin? He was no threat and had their program just coasting along at below mediocre levels.
No matter who they hire now, there’s always a chance it could be someone who will turn it around and make them a winner. And that’s why it’s less comfortable than Martin.
I imagine many schools feel the same way about us keeping Brownell.

anytime a coach signs on and then abruptly departs. Or even if a coach is flirting with other schools to get a big raise at his current school. Ex: "They better be careful or they'll get Cremined".

I say they got cooted.
Cremins was a coot. Who took took the coot job, only to coot on them and leave them as coots.
Ever herd the grammatically correct sentence: Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo.(City animal harassed animal)
It also works as "coot"
Coot coot coot coots. (Coot Alumni Screwwwwed Themselves)
Otherwise just typical behavior for a coot, any coot will look around any opportunity, assess the situation, and then look to do the maximum damage possible to their community.

The difference is CBB has been above average and in general competitive with everyone we play.
You might want to be careful reaching so far this early in the morning as you might pull a muscle.

hard to keep in Clemson with the success he's had.
With all of the negatives at Clemson making the row so tough to hoe, we better throw him a bone before someone steals him from us.

I was surprised that Duke did not come calling when Coach K announced his retirement. Seriously, how sad is it that SC cares about its basketball program enough to make a change when an obvious change is needed and Clemson does not? I have to give SC credit for at least doing something. Neff is about to prove the definition of insanity.

Nothing different about abject mediocrity in both programs. The only difference is SC is willing to do something about it.

Don’t let facts get in the way of your narrative, their winning percentages are almost identical, and Martin had more tournament wins than Brownell in less time.

All he knows is that we don't spend enough so we can't win, or something like that. Despite dozens of posts that prove otherwise.
He's a troll, the new Keller, except this version is much more condescending.

Oh I don’t know, his winning percentage was .537, and Brownell’s is .567. Martin has four NCAA tournament wins in 10 seasons and Brad has two in 12 seasons. They’re pretty much the same guy. Only difference is, when a coot sees a tiger Paw, they pucker up and usually lose, that’s the difference and their winning percentages.
