For me this is the worst loss in CU history!

Sep 22, 2014, 12:47 PM

We've beat the COOTS like a drum all my life I dont care about those. We Give the game away to the #1 team in America with a comedy of disasters on national tv when the whole nation was pulling for us to get it done.It was a Laurel AND Hardy Duet By Dabo and Morris. If Cole had never been on the field in 2014 we would be #1 in the nation now with wins at UGA and at Fsu.. Keep Kicking with Lakip now boys, it dont matter anymore.I need the comedic relief at this point!

Well, there's overreacting, and then

Last year was much more disappointing. Rockin DV and buoyed by a win over a good Ga team we have an experience qb ready to go and proceed to make a freshman qb look like a Heisman winner. Epic fold on both sides of the ball.

That's a big credibility killer.

You obviously don't recall that GT game with the bad punt

Sep 22, 2014, 12:52 PM

snap. Or, that SC game when Merriweather was pulled from the game at the goal line.

WVa Orange Bowl is high on that list as well.

2013 FSU game was worse than this

Were you there for the gut-wrenching loss against FSU in

Sep 22, 2014, 12:55 PM

1988-Puntrooskie? I think I hurt for 2 weeks after that one. IMO that was the worst --hurting loss in CU history.

Re: Were you there for the gut-wrenching loss... Yep , but I

Sep 22, 2014, 1:06 PM

see the guys point. I think this knocks us out of a lot of things we easily had in our hands.

The Texas Tech throttling years back in the bowl was a bad one, as was FSU last year....but its a different gut wrenching when you Should win the game and blow it.

You haven't been around very long

Sep 22, 2014, 12:57 PM

This one pales in comparison.

It is a simple formula which continues to repeat itself!
Special Teams
Short Yardage
Mistakes & Turnovers.

Easier to see it and say it than do it.....evidently!!

I have been an avid Clemson supporter since 1978 and

Sep 22, 2014, 1:05 PM

have sat through much more miserable loses in Athens,
chapel he!!, Atlanta, Columbia and even Winston-Salem.
This one hurts but was not the worst by far...at least for me.
Go TIGERS and beat the blue bellies Saturday!

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

It's the worst loss in the last 3 weeks, certainly.

Sep 22, 2014, 1:07 PM

Worst of all time? Not even Top 10.

Stupid, ignorant, crazy....
Go pull for another team. Please

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

you must be new

Sep 22, 2014, 1:17 PM

I can name dozens worse than this one. heck LAST YEAR'S FSU loss was worse - we were ranked way high and on the road to the BCS champ game before that derailment.

Almost every game we have lost to Duke, Wake, or SCAR has been worse. I can remember inexplicable ones to BC, GT, Maryland, and NC State that cost us ACC titles and more.

This one doesn't even register. Get real.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

The anchors away loss to SCjr....for me anyway...hands down

You have alzhiemers!

Sep 22, 2014, 1:39 PM

We have lost some doozies that make this look like child's play.

- Orange Bowl loss to WVa
- Last year's FSU game at home
- Last 2 Scar games
- That Wake game a few years back under Bowden
- Remember fumblerooskie loss?

At least in this game, we played well and lost due to dumb mistakes, so it was dissappointing, but there's no doubt we were the better football team on the field this past Saturday night in Tallahassee. Everyone saw that too.

And now we know the D is on fire and we have our QB of the future NOW!

Take a valium and 2 shots of Jamison and you will feel better in the morning.
