I have a female hose fitting that is stuck on the faucet bib

I think it has galvanized (what I get for buying a cheap hose)
I’ve read you can heat it with a torch to get it to break free but I’m skeert I might burn the house down if I try that
What do lunge? [Results]

|
Get out the torch and go for it with camera running in case disaster ensues |
|
Ask the manly young neighbor to lend a helping hand |
|
Keep dragging the really long hose around from the back yard |

Preemptively burn the house down |

Step 1- PB Blaster
Step 2- pipe wrench
Step 3- after you’ve lubricated the pipe wrench with PB blaster and shoved it up your butt, call your wife’s bull to get a real man to loosen your hose

You should be able to loosen it up with lube,

so what you're going to need is a well-built male hose with a good paying job, no felonies, and no apparent mommy issues to get her juices flowing.

Mix a solution of 50% transmission fluid and 50% acetone. Shake it up well and put a few drops around the lip of the coupling. Do that a few time with half an hour in between and you can take twist the coupling off with your hand.
I would have taken it off with a pair of vice grips and a pipe wrench to hold the hose bib but since you're calling it a faucet you should be real careful for faucets are much more fragile than hose bibs.

Get out your solder iron and use that to heat the fitting.

The nice thing is that if you do set the house on fire, you'll have a water hose handy to deal with it quickly

Check how easy it is to access the plumbing ahead of you bib. Might be able to cut down the copper about 17" beyond the entry point, sweat a joint, and place new unit with proper dunnage/support.
If it's Sharkbite, cut both those jokers loose, and put in a new distribution line and bib.
How much did you pay for the hose?

It’s just an outside faucet that’s had a leader hose

running to a reel next to the porch for years. Need to replace the reel and leader hose and can’t unscrew it from the faucet
Where the pipe comes out from under the house there is about 18 inches of crawl space under a cement porch. No way my big old ### is getting up in there.

You could try wrapping it overnight in paper towels soaked with WD-40 or CRC Brakeleen non-chlorinated. Hit it hard in the morning before it has a chance to get warmed up. The more humid, the tighter the threads will extend. Note, if this is a leader hose and you can disconnect it from the real, you might be able to flood it backwards (put cleaner in the reel side and let it set).
