we're an ag school too. We've heard every one of the "watch where you step" jokes from our moronic feathered cousins from Columbia.

There are ag schools, and they are needed and appreciated by me and anyone with sense
Then there is auburn.
Tip #3 - You wanna kill a couple of minutes, try and find the auburn museum

This website has a lot of good info, if you can sift through and discard the propaganda. If you are setting up a tailgate, weagle woods and hayfields seemed pretty good options.

Sorry Beer, but a group of us went to auburn in 2010 and had the best road trip ever. The fans were the most polite, welcoming and respectful fans (by far) that I've ever encountered. Every auburn fan that tailgated around us came over and offered us everything they had. And all the fans that sat around us never said one cross word to us or about Clemson. And we sat on the auburn side right slap in the middle of a ton of em. Having said all that, I can't say anything remotely close to that regarding bama fans. Actually the complete opposite. Y'all might wanna take notes from those people. Seriously.

I have to agree here, the times I've gone to games we've

played with Auburn, I have had nothing but good fan experience. Now, I didn't go to the National Championship or the Chick-fil-a Kickoff against Alabama, but the people I know that went had horrible things to say about Bama fans. Don't know if it's all the bandwagoners because of all the success or just each fanbase's culture, but it seems like Auburn fans as a whole are more respectful of opposing fans.

It's funny how everyone has different perspectives on fan bases. My only interaction with Bama fans was at the National Championsip game.....every one of them I encountered was gracious.
My only interaction with Auburn fans was the Kick Off Classic in ATL a few years back. Every one of them I encountered were complete a-holes. I was sitting one row behind a big group of them. As soon as I sat down they turned around, saw my Clemson apparel and immediately started getting in my face, cussing me and my wife, telling me how Clemson had zero chance to win the game because "We are Auburn...we play for championships.....we play in the SEC, blah, blah blah."
In the beginning of the 4th quarter they literally broke into a fist fight. I just stood back and watched them fight each other...Auburn fans fighting each other...great fans! The whole section cleared out after that because it was apparent they were going to lose the game.
Long post to get to this point....in most cases your opinion on opposing fan bases is dependant upon who you are lucky enough (or unlucky enough) to sit beside during the game.

Tip #5 - become a VIP and life of an Auburn tailgate by...
Using terms like "UAT" and "Bammer" gratuitously
Showing up with Natty Light
Do lots of jawing about how Bama cheats
And finally, here's the gold standard - wear your Clemson hat with a "Buck Fama" shirt, and you will become as popular as Pat dye and Bo Jackson

You could easily kill a case of an aubs beer discussing their various mascots and how they came to be
If you ask 10 aubs how they came to be the war eagles, you will probably get seven different answers if not more
