I'm more ok with this I suppose than firing someone for non-vaccination. Seems like a smoking surcharge on insurance.

that the insurance company would have to take your word for it. And if your "issue" isn't related to tobacco use, there would be no way to deny you benefits I wouldn't think.

Anywho, I select "no" for all the bad stuff --- drinking, smoking, etc.

with a collapsed lung due to some illness - doc asked him "do you smoke?" - "No, sir" was his immediate reply, "When did you quit?" doc asked. "A few minutes ago" was his answer.

communicated better.

Instead of fining people who aren't vaccinated, it would've sounded more positive to say that people who are vaccinated will receive a rebate/credit.

Companies should do that first to reward those who are intelligent, then charge the others later if they don't want to comply.
