I have never sharted or pooped my pants, ever, and don't get that humor. And I don't like rap or most music today. And I watched rasslin' for about 5 mins when I was a kid and said - that's fake - and never watched again. And I'm not paying a million bucks for a house worth about $100K. And I don't like ?f?a?t? thick women. And I don't care about craft beer. And I don't boil ribeyes in a plastic bag. And attempts to impress people just annoy me. (Pro tip: the more money you have, the less you talk about it). And I don't care for most movies these days, I'd rather watch 12 Angry Men or Casablanca for the 500th time. And I don't understand politics at all, they're all nucking futs.
In general, the world just makes no sense to me any more. Hopefully I'll be in a crappy nursing home soon, and I can sit in my wheelchair and watch the imaginary spider on the wall while the drool collects in my belly button.

The older I get, the less I give a chit abut anything.

is laughing with them, they're all laughing at them. I truly don't understand how it happens either, I don't even use public restrooms and I can't think of a single time I've sharted. I've held a poop for hours, days even without a problem. However, the thread below where CERTAIN POSTERS are putting out a trial balloon regarding fingering themselves might provide insight into why this is a problem for some.

As I get older it is interesting to see the cultural changes and generation gaps. It's something you just can't appreciate till you have the reference points to compare against.
A while back my 20 year old nephew tried to help me on a computer issue, and all I could think was "I was hand building computers before you were even born, but thanks." He was genuinely trying to be helpful, but his not knowing what I know it came off like a kindergartener offering to help the teacher learn to color with crayons. I suppose my elders looked at me the same way...you simply don't know what you don't know, and with some things only age and or experience can change that.
But yeah it's hugely noticeable in cultural stuff...movies, music, etc., -what is considered funny, or offensive, or solemn. As someone once told me, "the older I get, the smarter my grandparents get.
The first time I realized I wasn't immortal was about age 30, but now parts of me hurt that I didn't even know existed. You simply can't see the world as a 50 or 60 year old when you are 20 or 30. That's probably a good thing, because as my FIL said, "you know the best thing about getting older? Absolutely GD nothing."

I will amend this with the "not give a fk" clause. That is better. Things I used to worry about are just "eh, fugg it." That's an improvement in life, if not much else is. Although, I hope I don't get to this point in my older age
