I heard about some guy named Bill Russell was a top-five player of all time. Cowens, Havlicek, Yaz, Fisk, Grogan, John Hannah, Stanley Morgan, Bobby Orr. There’s been a few good ones that stayed. Sure is a great pro town as a fan. Great hockey town too.

There was a guy named Williams who I saw play several times and he was a better than average hitter, I’m biased but he WAS the greatest hitter who ever lived,

He talks about it in his autobiography. When he homered in his last game and received a standing O he still couldnt bring himself to do it. He mellowed later in life. My dad met him several times working with a group of which Ted was a part of trying to get Joe Jackson in to the Hall of Fame
