How did we get here???

This first off is not a flame of anyone or their thoughts. Just remember growing up and was glad we had a competitive team every year. For a long stretch FSU was the team to beat after they joined. Now are we spoiled for wanting or expecting to win every game after Dabo's success? I will admit being torn. I do want to win every game, yet someone does have to lose every time a game is played. Are we selfish now? I guess I am and I bought into the "best is the standard" phrase. We just need to see that Dabo still does believe in it. Go Tigers and again not calling anyone wrong for their opinion, unless you a Coot poster in disguise.

It is a reflection on our society in general. We want it all our way and we want it now. I saw something recently that I think was attributed to Paul Harvey that said we have worked so hard to make things better for our kids that we actually overprotected them to the point that many of them have never experienced disappointment and don’t know how to work for what they want. It made a lot of sense. Now when a lot of people don’t get what they want when they want it, it is someone or everyone else’s fault and it has to be fixed and someone has to pay immediately. But unfortunately most of the people who feel that way are incapable of correcting anything for themselves.
