Or is there only free speech in the US? Cause I hear people talking about free speech in Europe all the time. Last time I checked, they don't have the 1st amendment.

A private company, in no way, shape, or form, can stop you from expressing yourself in public. Don't like the social media site's policies? Don't use them and express yourself elsewhere.
When you demand a private company allow you to say any #### thing you want on THEIR platform, it is YOU who is trying to infringe one someone's free speech. In other words, the company's right to dictate THEIR message on THEIR platform.
Let's test it. Do you think Crump should allow ANYTHING to be posted on here? Or are you glad he's banned certain people for saying certain things?

(and yeah, it absolutely blurs, if not completely bastardizes some traditional ideological truisms) is that the companies in question tend to generally approach monopoly status, at least when it comes to reaching any mainstream audiences.
I think the bigger question is an antitrust one more than a free speech one.

Let's say Facebook or #### or Zuckerberg's Sociopathic Empire (whatever we want to call it) buys up all social media. Twitter. TikTok. Snapchat. Everything.
How has my free speech been stifled? How am I restricted from speaking my mind? I can't do it on those platforms? Okay. I'll go another route. I can still say it without punishment.

We could make the PnR into a game where our avatars walk around kicking each other in the balls, and rarely converse. It would not be much different than it is now, but it would have better graphics.

I'm saying if I want to say something in a very public Internet "marketplace of ideas" (forgive me for the awful buzzword), and there are effectively one or two places to do so and have a real shot at reaching a large swath of the populous, it could (COULD) be problematic.
I'm spitballing---not really all in on this idea so not too committed to debating it to the death, I'm just saying it's more likely an issue than free speech is.

How do they approach monopoly status?
We have Rumble. We have Gettr. We have Parler. We have Telegram. We have TRUTH social. Well, maybe not for much longer, because it keeps crashing and even The Donald hasn't found his own network yet.
People just don't use them because they're toxic waste dumps filled with neo-Nazis and Conspiracy Psychos, and a bunch of really mean people. And your answer is, force the private businesses to open their doors to the neo-Nazis and Conspiracy Psychos?
I mean, dude. This is the front page of Parler.com. Featuring quotes from Jim Jordan, Judicial Watch, Legal Insurrection, and exposed Russian disinformation site Zero Hedge. It doesn't seem like anybody's got any problems finding a platform for their views.

all of the viewpoints being censored by Twitter et al solely belonging to the fringe ideologies you just described?
Debating sex/gender classifications in the traditional sense seems to be ban-fodder now, as are healthy vaccine debates and discussions about Hunter's good old laptop.
I'm not saying I'm jonesing to dive into all those topics, but they don't seem like they're all tell-tale signs of Neo-Nazis, and if I want to discuss it on a platform with more than 5 million daily users (Twitter has 200+ million daily interactions), I'm SOL.

Yeah, but it could be that Twitter's kept the user base it has because it doesn't let neo-Nazis congregate there?
Certain kinds of ugly scare people, and send them running for the hills. I mean, if you were a tavern owner in England back in the day, you could service the Englishmen, or you could service the Vikings that were there to take an axe to the skulls of the Englishmen, it was kind of hard to do both.
I imagine the Vikings were kind of miffed to be refused service. But it's hard to feel all that sorry for them.

BS. People don't use them because they are not the monopoly and the monopoly keeps competition down by using their position of dominance to influence the market. It's the basic definition of a monopoly.
For example, say AA, Delta, United, Southwest all merge. This is fine by your logic because I can still name a half dozen tiny airlines that exist that are not the monopoly.

Yes, let test it here...
I'll try several twitter-verse verboten phrases, just to see if they're allowed:
#### abortionists killing babies in the womb.
#### gender-bending f#ggots corrupting our youth.
#### the perverse religion of climate change, with its commie #ss green gods.
Did any of that get me banhammered like it would on monopoly social media?
No?
Then what say ye, Cata?

That two different private businesses might have different terms of service?
What exactly do you have a problem with when a social media business tells you to agree to their terms to use it, you agree to said terms, and then you're blocked when you violate those terms?
What am I missing here?

Yes indeed, but I'd expand it a bit more.
The MSM activism along with big tech (social media: FB, Twitter, Google, ...) is the big problem. They are ACTIVELY stifling free speech under the guise of "terms of service." Crock of BS.
