Think Swint grab's the starting spot opposite Murphy?

He and XT might be listed as co-starters on one side.

Mascoll and Henry backing up Murphy on the other side.

I think it’s a little early for that. He’s much smaller at the moment. He just has a spring of practice. I can see him there next year maybe.

Yeah I looked at his profile and it lists him at 230lbs. While that might work against some teams I think most would see that and run to his side. I’m worried being that weight right now if a 300+ lbs lineman get there hands on him then he’s done. Only time will tell. Who knows I could be wrong and he do just fine. ???????

I think that is probably XT or Henry. Top 4 will be Murph, those 2 and Mascoll. I do like Swint's future. Prob a 2 year starter once he's a junior.

but CBV ain't moving him to ride the pine.

I expect Swint to get plenty of reps. If he performs well enough it's possible he moves into the #1 position opposite Murphy.

Tell you what: If Swint and Bentley get major reps this year, nobody will be saying our defense is soft. Both of those guys crush people.

Bresee is also a very nasty tackler, especially when hitting QBs.

He just has to be careful crushing people cause soft QBs like Fields get people ejected for hitting them too hard.

Mascoll will start at least 5 games. And if XT or Henry do not get better Mascoll will start the entire season. We won’t see Swint start until next season. He’ll play about 5-10 snaps a game is my guess.
