In all seriousness, would it be better for DJ as a player

to portal out ...
sometimes the coaching style doesn't mesh with the player. He would have a chance to develop in a different setting.
Rattler @ SCAR Bryant @ Mizzou
I'm sure there are more examples.

yep, take page out of LSU Joe's book

although I don't think his upside is same as ole Joe.
I just don't think mentally he has it, locks on one receiver, no pocket presence, makes bad decisions on zone reads, etc.

It's a great time for him to transfer. He graduates this December supposedly.

Could work out for him AND Dabo. DJU ends up in offense suited perfectly for him and excels to unimaginable level raising his draft position for NFL...
...Dabo gets a way to save face saying; "See, I told you so, if you would've just been patient like I said we'd have another Natty here at Clemson with DJ at QB."

I get that Streeter has been a bust and WR talent isn't there, but he was so incredibly inaccurate that I don't see how upgrades in coaching could fix that.
I'm starting to wonder if they are hiding a throwing hand injury because he straight up dropped the ball one time and then threw some weird ducks a few other times, it was so bizarre

Unless CK is objectively bad, this isnt doing DJ any good as

a person, either. It is unfair to him. He's not trying to go 8-29 (excuse me; we have been told that if not for drops it would be 11-29). If I knew DJ and liked him, I wouldn't like to see him being put in this situation.
But to answer your question, I would stay unless as mouse said above I graduated. If graduated, I would make that decision like any guy with a degree.

I think he's physically gifted and when his head is straight

he's #### good. Not Watson or Lawrence, but who is? But when he gets in his own head, or his dad or whoever else gets in there, he's a basketcase.
This kid has had games where film break down shows him progressing through reads and hitting receivers in stride and then games where he looks scared to death and couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. He's bi-polar.

member when he threw one of his, what, five or six ducks

and the announcers were like, "uncharacteristic looking throw there from DJ"
like, what bro? have you not been watching this guy for hte past two years?
an all-world D1 QB, playing for a perennial top 10 program, throwing ducks up there like he's training a 5 month old lab to retrieve.
laughably unacceptable.

was that they were often more on target than any of his tight spirals. He's an enigma.

It's like when Simone Biles took herself out of the Olympics. Is she physically/skilled the best athlete in her sport? Yes. But if you don't have the head game as well, you're just not.
DJ may have all the skills to be an elite QB, but if he's a head case, he'll be just another mediocre ball player bested by guys with less skill but stronger mental strength.
