powers could be forced to align themselves with the NFL as "minor league franchises". In other words, be isolated as "semi-pro" entities. I'm just brainstorming here.

Over the last few years there have only been two elite teams (Bama, Clemson) and four almost elite teams (Okie, Ohio, LSU, UGA). Assuming we add USC, aTm, Texas, Tenn, Florida to name a few we will likely see talent spread out more than past years. Assuming Clemson can continue to land an elite QB plus high 4* & 3* players we should still be competative.
