there is a problem but they can't identify it. If that's the case, how can they expect to fix it? Maybe they really do know the problem(s) and are addressing it, just don't want to publicize the solution. I think they get it together and find a way to beat the tarholes.

I think the defense lost focus once they got ahead in these past 'easy' games. I am not sure they took these opponents seriously enough and did not prepare.
Hopefully, they will come out as fired up as they were early in the season.

Hm Mac doesn't really seem to be exuding a lot of confidence here. Come on tigers, bear up a little longer and take care of the holes! Only 4 quarters to go and get some R&R.
I can't imagine the toll on our team though, even after they get some time to rest and prep for bowl games. Must be mentally exhausting. But that's why it's a championship!

10 straight 6 day weeks is what has been ask out of our team. They are going to class and practicing 5 days a week, and playing a FB game on every Saturday. I'm sure that will take a toll on any player.

I think the real toll from the 10 straight weeks is more mental than physical. I've always thought that "there is no 'tired' like a mental tired." Add to that, that the Tigers were highly favored in the last 3 games, and it's easy for a tired mind to lose focus. USuCk ran 67 plays against our defense... 61 of those plays netted them 175 yards... the other 6 netted them 227 yards. That stat alone shows the impact of losing focus for just a few plays.
I think we pull it together in the ACCCG and get back to championship form! 45-30 Tigers!

We played a great first half last week and a good fourth quarter which means the coots made some adjustments at halftime that paid dividends until we could re-adjust. Hopefully we can have another great first half and re-adjust to the holes halftime adjustments. And hopefully we will be way up at halftime too. I think we need to be. But, this Clemson team is different. They don't get rattled. They are all business, and I think we will be LTD when they TCB against UNC in the ACCFCG at BOA and be #1 in the FBS CFP.

Its a great plan to tell UNC they are tired so they go withe tempo and we get quick outs and we run or pass slowly down the field and wear their defense out so by the 3rd and 4th quarter.

When Brent is saying its hard but they are not making excuses. Its true about being tough on the body but I really believe they are trying to let the heels know its going to be easy so the Tiger can leap on the rams neck and squeeze it until no life is left.
