Just saw an article saying Kiffin would take the Miami job

if it became available. From the SEC to the ACC? Oh, the horror! With LSU open?
Anyway, I think this could be a positive for the ACC: 1) The press loves Kiffin 2) He could certainly improve that program in a hurry 3) There is history with Kiffin the Elder
What are your thoughts? Good for the ACC, or bad for the ACC? And will that job even be available?

Let me translate for you. Kiffin wants a lot more money and he could not care less which school writes the big check.

Thought he wanted Arch Manning at ol miss?
Miss isn't a long term fit for kiffen. Just like Tennessee wasn't. He's grew up on the west coast. He's more of a Hollywood type. Plus I think he kept his home in Boca from his time at FIU.
Such a kiffen move to apply for a job that's not open. But with a president coming to Miami it sounds like he's gone.
I think it's good for the ACC.

Kiffin = lit matches
Miami = an ocean of gasoline
I don’t like either Kiffin or Miami, therefore I think it’s a great idea.

Good for the ACC. I used to not like Kiffin, but I've come around on him. He could make UM football exciting again.

Why would anyone hire a coach with a track record of never staying anywhere more than 2 years? No matter how good he is, coaching changes that frequent are what destroy football programs. Tennessee and Southern Cal have not recovered yet.

Still if he were to leave Ole Miss this quickly it would only confirm the same behavior pattern he has exhibited previously. I would have to structure his contract so that he gets squat if he decides to bail for a better offer.

Kiffin would be the best OC and X's and O's man in the ACC on Day 1. And he would have to battle the top DC in the country - Jimmy Greenbeans when its nut cuttin' time.

Kiffin and Miami seem to be a match made in heaven. But, I've got an even better fir for him.
Kiffin and Florida.
1. They could afford him. 2. He's got ties in Florida, not only his mansion but also recruiting. 3. uf fans would love him. He's got the personality of Steve Spurrier.
If I were the Florida AD, I would already be talking to Jimmy Sexton, his agent, trying to beat Miami to the punch. Hire him before Miami hires an AD.

LSU job makes sense. Miami isn't firing Diaz unless they have a coach like Kiffin already hired. Miami isn't the Job people want to make it out to be. Who knows maybe he just wants to be in Florida and would take it.

He could take the Coastal way easier than the SEC West. That's for sure.

I just don't see how that makes any sense whatsoever. I

would consider it at BEST a lateral transfer, but more like a demotion.
