just another healthy 61 yr old vaccinated guy died.

a client of mine, perfectly healthy, worked a full time job and ran a big farm. Got break-through COVID in Aug, rebounded, but got worse again, went in the hospital 9/06, pneumonia, ventilator, died 10/15. Kinda scary, very sad. Gorgeous farm in the Blue Ridge Mountains, family all around, but I'm not sure who will run the farm now. Next generation not old enough, his brother travels a lot for work.

Sorry for this loss. I wonder if it was the delta variant or some other variant. they seem to have several around now. I think we will always be chasing these with some shot or booster

Unfortunately my mind jumps to how is this going to be spun moving forward.
I have to think it won’t be long until if you aren’t triple boosted- you will become an unvaxed statistic.

just asking. Just because he owned a farm, was at good weight and worked hard……that doesn’t equate to “perfectly healthy”.
We are not and should not be privy to his medical records, but I would dare to say he wasn’t “perfectly healthy”.

but he was purty dang healthy. Not trying to make a point to justify one position or another, and his case might be exceedingly rare, but he was healthy and vaccinated and now he's dead.

To the point you likely didn't know if he had high blood pressure, maybe early stage cancer or something else
It is an absolute shame but it's also a red herring to say he was "perfectly healthy". Chadwick Bozeman ... Ie Black Panther died from bowel cancer and no one had a clue until he died. People can hide things if they wish.

One of my subs died a month ago. 2nd time he had covid.

I've had a neighbor fully vaxed and get very ill, luckily he pulled thru - but he is a diabetic.
Covid still scary for us old folks.
I have the booster and still do not go out to eat, or do stuff I would have done pre Covid. Vaccine is good, but not perfect.
