DJ looks the same today as he did against GT and NC State. He's been bad all year, injured or not.

I don't know exactly what the reasons are. He certainly makes some beautiful throws, and can make throws that nobody else on our team, and few college QBs can make, but struggles mightily with routine throws. Tons of potential still, but at some point it has got to be realized.

I hope we see Helms, I think he might be exactly what we need at QB right now. The backup you haven’t seen is always the best one! But really, he has worked hard & might be exciting to see play!
I hope he gets some work today!

I can the bulls eye on a dart board one out of ten times.
The question I have is DJ a bust or is he just not being coached well?
There really is now way for me to know that. I feel for the kid right now because us fans have such high expectations and we could be blaming him for something that is not actually his fault.
It is hard to watch because even against a weak team with plenty of time to throw he just seems to be really inaccurate. One theory a friend put out is that his heart is the problem. His folks are getting divorced and that has to be a huge emotional and mental distraction.
I just don't know. I just think we probably should not throw him under the buss but maybe they should pursue a 50:50 qb play situation. Just sayin.
